If you haven’t already heard of a little company called Groupon, you should really see what you are missing.

Each day, they send an e-mail to your inbox with a new Daily Deal. Some of the recent ones I’ve purchased for our family are a family pass to the Clackamas Aquatic Center for $10 (the regular price for our family is $35), and tickets for the Centralia/Chehalis Steam Train at 50% off. Today’s deal is:

NorthWest EcoExcursions – Columbia River Boat Launch

$40 for Half-Day Kayaking Trip (Up to $85 Value)

You usually have 1-2 days to purchase the deal. Once you do, they send you an e-mail with a certificate that you print out. Most expire in 6 months, so you have plenty of time to use them.

There is no cost for for signing up. Simply enter you e-mail address and choose your city. You don’t have to enter any credit card info until you choose to purchase something.

Here’s a little promotional video provided by Groupon.

I have been using this company for years and I would highly recommend it. The deals are real, and I’ve never had any problem using them. I’ve purchased everything from a spa package to pizza and been completely satisfied every time. I hope you’ll give them a try, and then let me know about it.
